We - the people that care - must do what’s necessary to save the planet by choosing to consume products that help the environment.

That's why we bring you the AMEs: a pair of 100% vegan sneakers made from sustainable and recycled materials, that plant 5 trees and donate 1% of each purchase to NGOs.

100% Vegan sneakers

The AMEs' exterior is made using a vegan alternative to leather which only a third of the environmental impact of real leather.

Our vegan "leather" is made with a synthetic material which is eco-friendly, resistant, antibacterial and transpirable, and has Oeko-Tex®'s Standard 100 class I certification, meaning that every one of its components has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless in human ecological terms.

This way, we say NO to factory farming, which leads to deforestation and animal suffering, pollutes the water and produces over 37 percent of the methane emissions worldwide.

Made using Pineapple fiber

The colourful stripes on the sides of the AMEs are made with pineapple fiber, a material obtained from the discarded leaves of the pineapple harvest, which is why it requires no additional land, water, pesticides, fertilisers or additional environmental resources to be produced.

It also contributes to the livelihood of the farming communities that cultivate it, creating an additional stream of income so their living conditions are improved.

More than 10 million tonnes of plastic are thrown up every year, most of which end up in a landfill or in the ocean, harming all kinds of fish and marine life.

When you wear your AMEs, your feet will be embraced by a comfy inside cushioned with PET recycled from discarded plastics, such as plastic bottles.

This way, thanks to you, with each pair of sneakers, the equivalent of 2 plastic bottles will now be recycled! A job well done indeed.

That’s why we decided to manufacture the AMEs in Spain, where factories are subject to strict European standards.

This way, producing in a EU country such as Spain, we ensure all workers enjoy fair wages and fair labor conditions, subject to rigid quality standards.

That’s why together with the NGO Eden Reforestation Projects, for each pair of AMEs you buy, we will plant 5 trees for each pair of AMEs sold to help the reforestation effort.

That also means that we are able to compensate for the CO2 footprint of our shoe production several times.

On 2020, our donation went to the danish NGO Green Kayak, which encouraged people to take free kayak trips in exchange for coming back with buckets filled with trash floating around the water. Awesome, right?
